Step-by-Step Guide

How to Delete
Your Account

Follow these five steps inside the CollegeKaPyar app. The process takes under two minutes and permanently removes all your data.

Go to Account

Open CollegeKaPyar and tap your Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Tap Delete Account

Scroll to the bottom of Account Settings and press the Delete Account button.

Complete the Feedback Form

Tell us why you are leaving. Your feedback helps us improve the platform for everyone.

Submit Your Response

Review your reason and press Submit to confirm. This step cannot be undone.

Account Permanently Deleted

Your account and all associated data are instantly and permanently removed.

Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once you confirm deletion and submit the feedback form, your account cannot be recovered under any circumstances. All posts, messages, and connections will be removed immediately. Please back up anything you wish to keep before proceeding.

What Happens
to Your Data

We are fully transparent about what we store, what we delete instantly, and the minimal data we retain under legal obligation.

Permanently Deleted — Immediately

  • User profile — name, email address, gender, college, branch, year, and bio
  • All posts, images, captions, and comments you created
  • All personal and group chat messages
  • All sent and received connection requests
  • All push notification subscriptions
  • Subscription and payment records from our live database
  • All likes, reactions, and interactions tied to your profile
  • Anonymous masked identity and notification preferences

Data That May Be Retained

  • Account deletion feedback you voluntarily provide — retained anonymously for product improvement.
  • Transaction reference IDs may be retained for financial compliance and audit as required by applicable Indian law.
  • Aggregated, anonymised analytics that cannot be used to identify you may be retained.
  • Server access logs retained for security and abuse prevention for a limited period before automatic purging.

Personal Profile Data
Deleted immediately upon account deletion confirmation. No copies are kept.
Posts, Messages & Connections
Deleted instantly. Content is removed from all feeds and chat rooms within seconds of submission.
Deletion Feedback
Retained for up to 12 months for product improvement. Anonymised after 30 days — no personal identifiers retained beyond that.
Financial / Transaction Records
Retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations (Income Tax Act, GST). Only reference IDs — no card or bank details.
Server Logs & Security Data
Retained for up to 90 days for security monitoring and abuse prevention, then automatically purged.

Other Things
to Know

No Account Recovery

Once your account is deleted it cannot be recovered. To use CollegeKaPyar again, you will need to create a new account from scratch.

Admin Accounts

Admin accounts cannot be self-deleted for platform security reasons. Contact NPSC INNOVATIONS directly to close an admin account.

Instant Processing

Deletion is processed immediately upon form submission. Your session is terminated instantly and live database records are removed within seconds.

Third-Party Sign-In

If you used Google Sign-In, your Google account is completely unaffected. Only your CollegeKaPyar data is removed. Manage your Google data separately.
